Just over a year ago Faisal came to us because he wanted to propose to his lovely girlfriend Pelin. We arranged a beautiful proposal for the couple, which even involved their dog! You can read all about it here.
We were thrilled when earlier this year Faisal and Pelin contacted us again to ask if we would arrange their wedding. They told us that they wanted a small, intimate wedding with the ceremony and reception in the same venue so we set to work trying to find one that fit their criteria, and we found it; The Berkeley, a beautiful 5-star in hotel in Knightsbridge.The couple wanted a simple, yet elegant wedding so we arranged for Sweet Pea Flowers to create stunning dome arrangements of hydrangea and white roses for the tables, and three pedestal displays full of hydrangeas, roses and lisianthus for the ceremony room.When the wedding guests entered The Belgravia room where the ceremony was to take place they were offered delicious cupcakes from Crumbs and Doilies before taking their seats.
The service incorporated aspects from both Turkish and Indian traditions, which are the backgrounds of the couple.
When the ceremony finished they couple and guests were lead into the stunning Ballroom where they enjoyed a mocktail hour along with delicious canapés before finding their name places and sitting down for a three-course meal.
On each of the tables the guests found favours of Turkish boxes, which had trinket inside.
Faisal had decided that he wanted to surprise Pelin with a performance from Bollywood dancers and the guests we thrilled when half way through their wedding breakfast they came out and performed to a mixture of Bollywood songs.
We throughly enjoyed being apart of Faisal and Pelin's big day and wish them many happy years together.
