WHAT IS A PROPOSAL PLANNER?

Published on 8th November '19

Planning your proposal can take so much time, and it can be hard to know exactly where to start. Where do you have it? What's the best time to do it? Will your partner like it? What if it rains or something goes wrong? These are a just a few of the questions to ask yourself when planning a proposal.

As the UK and Europe's leading proposal planners, having planned over 1,500 proposals in every country imaginable, we know how tough it can be.

So what is a proposal planner, and do you actually need one?

What Is A Proposal Planner?

To put it simply, a proposal planner helps to take all of the stress out of planning a proposal.

Just like a wedding planner does for weddings, we manage the entire process of a proposal (or as much as you want us to). Everything from thinking of where you're going to propose to decorating the venue, right through to where you're going to celebrate after you've dropped down on one knee and your partner has said yes. We can help with every single step!

We have relationships with the best suppliers and locations so that you get the very best people at the best possible price, and without having to worry about finding anyone. Whether that's personalised props to decorate the space, a photographer to capture your special moment, or one the many beautiful locations around the world to propose at. We manage everything so that all you have to do is pop the question.

Frequently Asked Questions

Now you know what a proposal planner does, here's some frequently asked questions that people looking to propose ask us..

Will my girlfriend or boyfriend care if I use a proposal planner?

Not at all.

Sometimes we just need a little help.. there's nothing wrong with that, it's still your proposal! Believe us, all that your loved one will care about is how special you've made it for them. They will appreciate the amount of effort you went to, to make their proposal so amazing for them.

We get so many amazing reviews after from girlfriends and boyfriends about how their partner was amazed by it. Here's one from Juan after we planned his and Shannon's proposal in Montenegro..

"Guys!! Thank you! Thank you so so so so so so so much! It was unbelievable, you and your team are unbelievable! The view was unbelievable! I cannot stop thinking about it. My fiancé is so happy and in saying that you have made me extremely happy. So thank you from the bottom of my heart! The set up was out of this world!"

How does proposal planning work?

Simply get in touch with us or book a call back at a convenient time for you (so that your partner doesn't hear anything).

Once we've had an initial chat about what you're looking for, we'll send you a brief outline of our ideas and you decide if you want to go ahead. As soon as you're set on the idea of The Proposers planning your proposal, we can then manage everything you want us to manage. We're here to make sure everything is organised and goes to plan from as soon as you get in touch until she has said yes.

How much does a proposal planner cost?

Our packages start from £500 and range from anywhere to over £1 million.

The average proposal at one of our most popular proposal spots normally around £2,000, which will normally get you a personalised decorated space at an iconic landmark with a view.

How far in advance should I book a proposal planner?

As with anything, the more notice you can give the better. The latest we recommend is around 2-3 weeks before your proposal, to ensure that we have enough time to coordinate everything, but we've planned proposals anywhere up to 24 hours before. We never recommend this however, as the more time we have, the more personalised we can make your proposal and the best deals we can get with suppliers and venues. Especially at busier times of year like Christmas it's always better to get in touch as soon as possible to avoid disappointment on venues and finer details.

Will my partner find out before if I use a proposal planner?

99% of the proposals we plan are surprises, and we know exactly how to do it without your partner finding out. It's much better than you asking for your partners best friends help! This sometimes means us dressing up as waiters, or creating fake tickets on the night, but we'll do all that's possible to make sure that your partner doesn't find out what's about to happen until the moment you drop down on one knee.

What will you do on the day of the proposal?

On the day of the proposal we'll do everything from bringing the props, to co-ordinating with the photographer, to decorating and setting up the entire room. We make sure that all you have to do is rehearse your speech, bring your partner in and get down on one knee. As our slogan says, "we do the planning, you pop the question".

How many proposals have you planned?

We've planned over 1,500 proposals with a 100% YES rate all around the world.

Where do you plan proposals?

We're based in London, so know all there is to know about proposing in London, but we plan proposals all around the globe. We've planned proposals from Iceland to Nigeria, and everywhere in between.

Can I meet you beforehand?

Most of our proposals are done remotely, over the phone, or via email or message. We've even planned hundreds of proposals while being in different countries from the couple.

However, we are based in Soho, London so are always happy to meet if you prefer to chat face to face and wanted to pop in to the office. You can contact us here to arrange a time to come see us.
