Sanj wanted to propose to his lovely girlfriend so came to us for help. He knew that he wanted to propose in an outdoor space in the countryside that had a beautiful view. Luckily for him, we know a lot of places that have beautiful views and suggested the gorgeous Hartwell House in Buckinghamshire. With 90 acres of stunning gardens to choose from, we knew that this was the perfect setting for Sanj and Mika's proposal.
To get Mika to Hartwell House without arousing suspicion Sanj told her that they were going to spend the night in the 5 star Hotel and Spa so that they could celebrate their 5th year anniversary. Little did she know what else he had in store! As Sanj was planning on having an anniversary dinner with Mika before the proposal, we suggested that instead of eating dessert in the hotel, they should instead have it at the proposal spot so that they could enjoy the decoration and scenery around them. On the day of the proposal Sanj and Mika went for dinner as planned. After, Sanj told Mika that he wanted to go for a walk in the gardens with her. As they approached the proposal spot Mika noticed that there were lights ahead and was shocked when they got closer and saw that they had come to a pathway in front of them, which had been set out with beautiful white lanterns on either side.
As they followed the trail Mika noticed that the tree next to them had been covered in fairy lights and that there were personal love note messages from Sanj to Mika hanging down from the tree in gorgeous frames. At the end of the trail there was a table set up with a bottle of champagne, two glasses and a dessert for them to share. During their dessert Sanj surprised Mika by getting up and telling her how much he loved her. As he did this, she heard a bang, and as she turned around she saw, 'Marry Me Mika' written in fire words! Mika couldn't believe her eyes, and even more so when she turned back around and Sanj was waiting down on one knee to ask her to be his wife.Of course, SHE SAID YES!
The proposal was completely magical and the couple celebrated with more champagne, and by taking photographs in the proposal spot, as well as in Hartwell House itself!
