Giles wanted to plan an incredible proposal for his beautiful girlfriend, Lauren, so came to us to help bring his dream to life!
Giles and Lauren live in New York, so he wanted a proposal that would give her a classic, beautifully British experience. He wanted something intimate with incredible views of London and we knew just the place… We hired the Yi Private Dining Room, at the Shangri-La Hotel, located at the Shard London. With stunning panoramic views of London, this was the perfect location for soaking up the amazing scenery that London has to offer. The private dining room overlooks the sensational Tower Bridge and the Ice Rink at the Tower of London that looked gorgeous from a bird’s eye view.
Giles told Lauren that they were having dinner at TING, The Shangri-La's Asian restaurant so she wouldn't suspect a thing! The happy couple were greeted by our planner and were lead towards the private dining room, Lauren had no idea what was waiting for her behind the door… As they walked through the door, our lucky bride-to-be was completely surprised by the beautiful transformation and views that were before her! A stunning pink & red rose petal path lead them over to a heart shaped from even more rose petals and this was the magical spot where Giles 'popped the question'!
She said yes!!
