A Shard Proposal - Hotel Room Marriage Proposal above the city:
One of our most recent proposals took place high above the city in a private suite at The Shangri-La Hotel, The Shard - with sweeping views of Tower Bridge and a room transformed into a stunning red and gold escape.
The brief? Modern, luxurious and romantic.
We started with a rich red and gold colour palette, layering petals to border the room. Dozens of candles lit up the space, while heart shaped balloons floated above, creating a polished look.
At the centre of the room, glowing ‘Marry Me’ LED letters created the perfect proposal moment - framed by clusters of red roses in gold-accented vases placed around the suite. To make it truly personal, we added gold framed photos from throughout our couple's relationship: including holidays, everyday moments, and milestones they’ve shared together. It was a beautiful way to tell their story and fill the space with meaning and love. The windows of The Shard as always delivered outstanding views of the London skyline, with Tower Bridge illuminated beautifully in the background.
We also ensured the couple's favourite song "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran was playing ahead of the big moment on the speakers and of course brought in our photographer to capture it all.
The pair returned from dinner to find the transformation waiting for them. N had spent time working closely with us to plan the perfect hotel proposal for S and it did not disappoint.
