When we heard London was one of Stephen and Morgans favourite destinations, we knew a proposal in a private pod on The London Eye would work perfectly! As we are the London Eyes official romance planner, our team worked with the iconic landmark to help Stephen surprise Morgan in the dizzy heights of central London.
Morgan didn’t have the slightest inkling what was about to happen when the couple boarded their pod as part of their London tour. At the highest point of their rotation, our disguised ‘tourists’ began playing and singing songs that Stephen had carefully selected with us. As the music swelled, our team opened their jackets to reveal the words ‘Will You Marry Me?’. There were tears and smiles galore as the now fiancé said a big fat YES!
But the romance didn’t stop there! Next, the couple were whisked off to the five star Shangri–La Hotel at the Shard for yet another surprise. Our team secretly adorned a private dining room with an aray of romantic rose petals displays mixed with candles, fairy lights and personal photos. Stephen and Morgan were able to spend their first few hours as a newly engaged couple, dining, laughing and taking in those panoramic views of London that they love. The perfect end to a perfect engagement.
