private Disneyland Paris proposal

7 ways to incorporate Disney into your Proposal

1. Include nods to Disney in your proposal speech..

No matter where you choose to ask, adding a sweet Disney quote will surely tug at your partners’ heartstrings. Some of our favourites are “You are my greatest adventure”, “I look at you and I’m home” and “To infinity and beyond”.

2. Have your own happily ever love story

In the spirit of the house of the mouse, animate your fairytale with sketches of your relationship through the years. You can get a professional to create these or make it extra personal by drawing these up yourself and then displaying them beautifully as part of the proposal or alternatively compiling them into a book to show your partner before you go down on one knee.

3. Take the Mickey

For this Disney proposal idea, why not get the help of a beloved character to pop the big question, or better yet you could become your partners’ very own prince or princess charming for the day by dawning the custom on yourself! They will be completely surprised and will surely approve with a true loves’ kiss.

4. Disney-esque Engagement Ring

Disney creates engagement rings with small touches that pay tribute to their most loved characters (for example some have a hidden Mickey). Or another idea is to get a ring with a special stone to symbolise a favourite princess – Topaz for Jasmine or Ruby for Snow White. Finally, you can also find a cute ring box that is on theme for the occasion.

5. Bring the Bell to the Ball

Why not go all out on the theme, incorporate elements of their favourite Disney film and make them feel like a real-life princess/ prince for the day. For Cinderella-inspired lovers only a romantic carriage ride along the streets of London will do – that is if the shoe fits. Or have a ball of a time with your very own Beauty and the Beast moment.
